Affiliate Disclosure
Every trail ride compared here, from the 75-minute Country Lane Tour to the seven-hour Colonial Brewery Ride, is run by Jesters Flat. Booking links lead to the live listing and this site earns nothing from them. A few other links, such as accommodation and nearby activities, are affiliate links that may pay a commission at no extra cost to you.
Signposts, Not Saddles
This site is independent. It runs no ride, owns no horse and employs no guide, and Jesters Flat has no hand in what appears here. Payment happens on the operator's own booking page, so card details never pass through this domain.
Which Links Earn A Commission
Each availability button on a ride card opens the operator's own booking page. There is no partner code on those links and no commission reaches this site when you book. The operator pays nothing to be listed either, and no ride can buy its way into the comparison. The same applies to any ride booked directly with the operator rather than through the listing.
Some links on this site are affiliate links: Expedia hotel links, GetYourGuide and Viator links to nearby activities, and a GuruWalk free walking tour link. Reserve through one of them and this site may earn a commission, while the price you pay stays the same either way. Those commissions are the only revenue this site has. There are no display ads, no sponsored articles and no operator paying for a place in any list.
A few links lead to public sources such as Emergency WA fire notices and Shire of Augusta-Margaret River announcements about trail and park access. Nothing is earned from those links; they carry no tracking code and no payment of any kind.
Where Nothing Is Paid
Every ride compared on this site is a Jesters Flat ride, so there is no rival stable paying for a better mention. The operator also sets the terms that matter most to riders: weight limits, minimum ages and the waiver signed on arrival. Those conditions differ from ride to ride, so read the booking page before promising a spot to a young rider. Durations are approximate. Total fire bans are declared by DFES on days of extreme fire weather, and forest or park closures can follow, sometimes with little notice.
What Money Can't Shift
- Listing checks. A ride earns its place here only as a genuine, bookable listing, from the 75-minute Country Lane Tour to the six-hour Berry Farm Ride. Review counts appear exactly as published, so the 325 reviews carried by these listings show up as they are, never inflated and never trimmed.
- Order. Rides sit in three groups by length: short rides, forest treks and full-day rides. No fee buys a higher spot.
- Descriptions. What appears about each ride sticks to the operator's own figures. The rating shown is the published one, review counts are never rounded in either direction, and durations match the listing, so the 90-minute Little Grove Tour and the three-hour Wanderer Tour both appear at their true length.
- What gets left out. Operators that publish no rides or prices appear on the map only, never as bookable cards.
Where The Ride Facts Come From
Each card draws its details from the operator's live booking pages: the ride description, the duration and the price per rider. The rating shown is the operator's overall figure across its public listings. Current prices, quoted in Australian dollars, sit on the booking page itself, and that page is the one that takes your reservation.
Ride Without The Link
Ringing the stable directly works just as well, and nothing here depends on an outbound link being clicked. The FAQ and the guides stand on their own either way.
Notice a detail on a trail ride listing that no longer matches what the operator advertises: let us know. The about page covers how rides get picked for comparison.
